Andy Summers is still working on the singles reviews for the 1980-10-04 Record Mirror edition - until 3:30am.
It's very likely he spent the rest of the day in Kinsale and - as an article in the same magazine suggests - was not expected back in London before October 11.
The Record Mirror report says he had studio time booked in Dublin (possibly Keystone Studios) - which might mean demoing solo songs or working on Police In The East.
