On the Shepperton Studios backlot a circus tent burned down. This was already the third attempt to shoot a specific scene. The set had to be recreated five weeks later, after principal photography had ended. It's a fair assumption that Sting was still busy shooting scenes for The Bride at this time.
Rogier van der Gugten's notes say that Sting's last day of filming was October 2, and that today he was already working on Plenty (no sources).
