Trivia

There were about 48.000 people in the audience.

Backstage after the concert The Police were presented with a large "end-of-tour" cake. Sting started to make a speech, then paused mid-sentence and dumped the entire cake on Stewart Copeland's head. Stewart and Andy Summers grabbed pieces of the cake and smeared them into Sting's face.
