Lyrics

Truths kills everybody and lies can lean your mind into
Open doors protect nobody
Once inside you can't get through
Eyes are closed like cameras, shutting out importen (?) light
What you really risk is only what you know by sight

Truth kills
Truth kills

Hiding from the mountains and the mountains hiding you
Burning burning, burning sunset
Only glad to

Eyes are closed like cameras, shutting out importen light
What you really risk is only what you know by sight

Truth kills
Truth kills

Take a look at my new toy
It will blow you head in two oh boy
It will take you down on peagasue (?)

Truths kills everybody and lies can lean your mind into
Open doors protect nobody
Once inside you can't get through
Eyes are closed like cameras, shutting out importen light
What you really risk is only what you know by sight

Truth kills
Truth kills

Hiding from the mountains and the mountains hiding you
Burning burning, burning sunset
Only glad to

Eyes are closed like cameras, shutting out importen light
What you really risk is only what you know by sight

Alternative and cover versions

The song would later be used for The Police's Truth Hits Everybody. Stewart Copeland suggested to change "kills" into "hits" as he thought the truth hitting you would be a more positive thing.
