Trivia
On the day before The Police were re-mixing Zenyatta Mondatta at Strawberry Studios South in Dorking. Stewart Copeland ate a curry meal and was already sick when the band flew back to France. The Police arrived at the Hotel du Palais in Biarritz around 04:00PM. They didn't do a soundcheck today.
At 06:30PM the doors to the venue open and about 8500 fans enter.
The Police started their concert around 11:00PM. Sting didn't announce The Police's drummer, there are also hardly any lights on him. That's because Stewart's roadie Jeff Seitz played drums at this concert and kept his head low - so most of the audience probably didn't notice that Stewart didn't play...
A local doctor was with Stewart earlier at the hotel, but couldn't help much. A pale and suffering Stewart attended the concert, though.
