Sting probably is at home in Roundstone, Ireland - writing songs for Ghost In The Machine.

Outlandos Fan Club mini-bulletin from April/May 1981 mentions that Sting went to Ireland for a short visit after finishing filming Artemis 81. The last day of filming for that TV movie was on 1981-04-25. He already started recording demos in Paris, France on 1981-05-04, which leaves only a few days in Ireland to write some songs for Ghost In The Machine.

In later interviews or record credits Sting mentions writing songs for that LP in Ireland in April 1981 - while the hunger strikes in Belfast were still going on. He might have visited his Irish home on days off between separate Artemis 81 shooting blocks, but the only larger periods of time to actually write songs there were between 1981-04-16 and 1981-04-22, and then the brief period between 1981-04-26 and 1981-05-03 (he was expected in London before going to Paris).
