Andy is interviewed in Kinsale
Photo or image related to event
Date: 1980-09-25
Location: Kinsale, Ireland
Attendees: Andy Summers, Mike Nicholls, Justin Thomas

Journalists from Record Mirror visit Andy Summers at his home in Kinsale, Ireland. They take photos on the quay-side with some nuns and then watch Top Of The Pops at a friend's house (because Andy doesn't have a TV yet) where they show The Police 's new video for Don't Stand So Close To Me. Andy reviews the 1980-10-04 Record Mirror's singles before heading to a roller disco.

Andy has been at his new home for three weeks, so he probably went there right after The Police returned on 1980-09-03.

Earlier that year Andy had rented a house near Galway on the west coast, but couldn't stand the isolation.
