Show summary
This German music program originally ran between 1974 and 1986 and presented concerts from international bands filmed in venues all over the country. Concerts were broadcast in full length or edited at a later date.
The most famous events were Rockpalast-Nights. This was a live event with several bands playing at the Grugahalle. The TV broadcast was in mono, but the Rockpalast-Nights were also broadcast on the radio in stereo.
Wayne County & The Electric Chairs and The Police were featured in individual concerts. The Police's performance was so well received that they played one of the Rockpalast-Nights the same year.
