Introduction

The Outlandos newsletter from December 1986 mentions that Stewart Copeland "is currently working on a record with Lloyd Cole & The Commotions".

It looks like Stewart Copeland was only actively involved in the production of demos for this album, including Jennifer She Said and Hey Rusty. The source for this is the Lloyd Cole & The Commotions box "Collected Recordings 1983-1989".

Music & Media from October 31, 1987 mentions that original producer Chris Thomas left and Stewart Copeland stepped in to put the track Hey Rusty together. In January (1987) former Tears For Fears keyboard player Ian Stanley offered to produce the rest of the album.
