Stewart Copeland gets up at 11:00am. The Police rehearse at "La Starza" until 06:00pm. They rearrange So Lonely and work on the vocals. Stewart and Sting drive to St. John's Wood where Stewart talks to Jill Furmanovsky about the Klark Kent single cover. At his home Stewart played his two latest songs to Sting. He likes I Finally Got Away From Home, but not Law And Order.

Stewart attends a concert by Alternative TV at the 100 Club (with Kim Turner on guitar). On his way home he passes Brian James who freezes at a bus stop.
