today might have been the day of the 1967 Brighton Rag Ball.
The event took place at the Metropole Hotel in Brighton, England, UK.
The promoter of this event thinks that it took place AROUND today. But he also remembers that it was one of the last (if not THE last gig) with Steve Winwood. He probably left the band on April 2, 1967 to form Traffic - which would put the Brighton Rag Ball around March 1967 - and the SDG were touring the UK then.
