This is a very basic template to use for articles about events in Police history. You can add header sections and images as you feel necessary in order to properly illustrate the event. For actual performances, please use [[Template:Performance]] instead. Event articles should be named in the YYYY-MM-DD format to be properly registered in the timeline calendars.

Date: 1978-08-31
Location: Leatherhead, England, UK - Surrey Sound Studios
Attendees: The Police, Nigel Gray, Joe Sinclair

Stewart Copeland took Andy's car and picked up Andy and Sting for another recording session at Surrey Sound Studios in Leatherhead, England, UK.

At noon they started recording No Time This Time before Sting had to leave for the Quadrophenia audition. Then Joe Sinclair arrived but the rest of the afternoon remained unproductive.

Around 6:30pm they left to watch the TV broadcast of Klark Kent's Top Of The Pops performance on Nigel Gray's TV.

After some Indian take away food the band worked on Hole In My Life.
