This is a very basic template to use for articles about events in Police history. You can add header sections and images as you feel necessary in order to properly illustrate the event. For actual performances, please use [[Template:Performance]] instead. Event articles should be named in the YYYY-MM-DD format to be properly registered in the timeline calendars.

Date: 1978-07-24

Stewart Copeland calls Peter Cornish from Island Publishing and asked for a TEAC machine. He takes a taxi to Peter Baylis to receive photos and contact sheets from yesterday's photo shooting. Stewart drops off Klark Kent skull pictures at NME. At A&M offices he meets PR man Kit Buckler and designer Mike Ross.

Stewart then buys a TEAC machine for 794 UK pounds; Island Publishing is providing the cheque. He takes it home in a taxi where he's busy working with his new toy all night.
