Sting bought this guitar at Manny's in New York in 1978 for about $200-$250. Its serial number is S908109.
Message In A Bottle was composed with this guitar.
The guitar was also used in the Walking On The Moon and for the The Secret Policeman's Concerts.
On 2017-09-08 Sting donated the guitar to the The National Museum Of American History in Washington, DC, USA.
