Sting records 3 songs for Leaving Las Vegas | |
---|---|
Date: | 1995-02-08 |
Location: | Elstree, England, UK (?) |
Attendees: | Sting, Jimmy Nail, Pato Banton |
Sting performs This Cowboy Song on the BBC's "Top Of The Pops" TV show (with Pato Banton and Jimmy Nail). On the same show he had already played bass on Jimmy Nail's Cowboy Dreams.
Outlandos newsletter from March 1995 mentions two dates for this TV performance - today and tomorrow... As the Leaving Las Vegas recording are a given for tomorrow - as stated in the soundtrack's liner notes - today's date is more appropriate for the TOTP TV appearance.
