Trivia
Andy mentions that this was their first gig on US soil. This conflicts with the information about the concert on 1968-06-05. In an interview from 2024-11-05 Andy confirms that the first US gig with Soft Machine was in Texas close to the beach. The band had flow to New York and then started the tour in Texas, where they stayed for five days (info from a letter he wrote to Jeff Dexter from late June).
