The Sounds review from September 11 mentions "Andy Summers' muscular lead guitar".
Today Andy Summers met John Etheridge (Soft Machine) for the first time. Both musicians would become friends and played music together. Before there were any concerts or recordings Andy joined The Police. They remained friends and eventually released Invisible Threads in 1993.
