Sting performs a lip-synched version of If You Love Somebody Set Them Free on "Top Of The Pops" in London, England, UK.
The show was broadcast today, but recorded earlier. It's already mentioned in the June 15 issue of "No. 1" magazine that Sting "performed" with two other backing vocalists, and drove home from White City to Hampstead with a No. 1 journalist. The singers were Ellen (said to have sung on the Synchronicity tour) and Leslie, Sting's housekeeper. Sting and the journalist talk about a Derby and betting, maybe referring to the Epsom Downs derby on June 5.
Record Mirror (June 29 issue) mentions the same incident, mentioning Lez Hannibal as the lady's name.
