On the same day The Police also lip-synched "So Lonely" and "Roxanne" on the ZDF TV show Rockpop in Munich.
Scenes from today can be seen in Stewart Copeland's movie Everyone Stares: The Police Inside Out.
Sting probably wrote Walking On The Moon later that night - lying drunk in a hotel room in Munich.
