---|---|
Date: | 1999-12-19 |
Location: | train from Germany to Milan, Italy - Teatro Nazionale |
Attendees: | Sting, Joe Sumner |
Sting's flight to Milan, Italy had to be cancelled due to heavy snow in Germany. As he was supposed to appear on the TV show "Quelli che il calcio..." he took a train instead, but was too late for the broadcasting. A TV team boarded the train at Bolzano and Sting's acoustic performance of Brand New Day was broadcast (supported by Joe Sumner). Sting was finally interviewed by telephone.
When he finally reached Milan he participated in a charity TV show a the Teatro Nazionale (with Zucchero, Phil Collins...) and performed Brand New Day with son Joe on guitar.
