Stewart Copeland gets up at 11:00am. The Police rehearse at La Starza Palace until 06:00pm. They rearrange So Lonely and work on the vocals. Stewart and Sting drive to St. John's Wood where Stewart talks to Jill Furmanovsky about the Klark Kent single cover. At his home Stewart played his two latest songs to Sting. He likes I Finally Got Away From Home, but not Law And Order.
Stewart and Sting attend a concert by Alternative TV at the 100 Club (with Kim Turner on guitar). Sting had lent his bass gear to the band - they returned it the next day with the speaker blown...
On his way home he passes Brian James who freezes at a bus stop.
