Dave Harvey was the first roadie The Police had. For a long time it was The Police, Kim Turner and him - and no one else. He left the group at the Iroquois Hotel in New York right before the January 1980 US leg of the 1979-1980 Reggatta de Blanc Tour. His final words to Kim Turner "Oym Leevin the Groop" in a strong Bristol accent kept him in the band's memory - a band / crew pass and t-shirt were created with his photo.
