Sting attends a charity event in the throne room of Catherine Palace in Pushkin, Russia.

Richard Caring had organized this ball to raise funds for The Children's Charity - more then $20.000.000 were collected. The guests had to pay an admission fee of about $10.000 and were all dressed in historical costumes.

Elton John and Tina Turner performed.

Like the other guests Sting and Trudie Styler probably arrived the day before in a private jet and - being welcomed at a party in the Yusupov Palace.

They stayed at the Grand Hotel Europe.
