Hi my name is Jan from Tasmania Australia most of you will know me as visions taken from visions of the night and this is my big adventure to see my favourite Drummer and band after waiting 28 years to see them THE POLICE
Melbourne 26th January 2008 and Larissa posted a message at our site Stewart Copeland.net
Flaggy has drunk all my tequila and smoked all my weed, and is now passed out on my bathroom floor. I can't wait to hand the little bastard off to Jan tomorrow.
My 12.25pm roll call to the site
Stewart can't possible miss the mad jumping green monster and Larissa stop giving it booze and smoke it's bad for its health

Can’t wait for tonight getting in the ground at six need to buys lots of stuff
My first police concert and need to feel every minute of it even buying all the merchandise

What a day! 32 and threatening thunderstorms
Nearly died when there were loud booms
Oh no thunderstorms --- but on no fireworks!!
Of course Australia day but who gave a stuff; THE POLICE WERE PLAYING
Where do I begin?
Started the day wearing one my new police t-shirt that I bought the day before to get in the Police mood for one has to be ready
Arranged to have the flag later because it was easier for everyone I believe
Suppose to meet up with Peter however got there late, sorry if you were there but we did make it and couldn't really remember the final arrangements which is fine so we had one drink at the Hilton then wondered across to the MSG ground nice and early and got some great stuff to add to my collection NEED MORE WALL SPACE
Okay bought my stuff two more t-shirts, tote bag, cd's, programme
then wondered through security which was no hard ship since my beloved Larissa was carrying flaggy......flaggy was on bad behaviour however not asshat (I hope) camera made it though but after cutting Joe's head off in practice gave that up as a bad joke!! Hoping my wonderful fellow Stewy mates would take pics thanks guys
Fiction Plane was great thanks to Kimmy for supplying their music and really did enjoy the band even bought their album at the concert to show my support for their music
Then there was Fergie.......................
Sorry people not so bad I do like a couple of her songs ------just okay
I was looking all around and thinking to myself Oh my Gong these people are going to be boring all just sitting doing nothing....only us nutters will be rocking........
Then flaggie arrived.......need to say more????
Flaggy took over!!
Personality plus it really does have a life of it own----you can't control the monster for it wants to be free
PS Larissa flaggy might need a wash been kissed and slobber over --- flaggy made me do it --- honest!
He made a lot of friends -- surrounding friends --- very liked and shared some cha bracelets --- flaggy made me do it!!! Honest!!
Yes, cha were floating on wrists
Dark clouds were hanging around the outside of the MCG ground looking very ominous..........then crash….bang….. boom .....
Pulled out plastic raincoat to protect flaggy ..... DM will kill me if flaggy gets wet.....he told me so ....so did as told......
False alarm Fireworks ......... the skies were green, then blue, yellow, red....
Aha, the band was watching the fireworks!!!!
Oh yes.....band watching fireworks!!!
Suddenly the lights went down ooh did I forget to mention the ground lights were on....
There was darkness.....
Then there was a rumbling...........
Thunder????

Then there was STEWART
Jan (roozie) went off her face and flaggy wasn't any better!!!
Now Stewart I was on the edge and thought it would be easy to spot me however there was this one big hurdle in our way
Now Sting you must step either further to the middle or further to my left!
STEWART ..... note find flag and move Sting for flaggy!!!
Only kidding Stewart you were fantastic and gorgeous as normal and believe me you knocked me off my feet!!
I must leave you hanging with Stewart rising from the underneath with his gong building, building and building and until..................................

STEWART had arrived!!!!!!!!!!!
Jan was in heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flaggy was beside it's self!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The crowds rose!!!!!!!!!!!!!

aha yes..........
Gong (biggest gong, do I need a gong, no? but I have one, said with this amazing grin, roozie with you Stew) this amazing gong and the dead drop gorgeous drummer raised from beneath (not from hell) from underneath the stage of all stages MCG the first concert that has been played there since it was redone ten years ago
Yes we were on the grass on the MCG ground and not fined 5,000.00 where football is played and cricket!!! Now taken over by the Police!!
The boys are back!!
Yes Stewart had arrived and the Police were on stage
The crowd went wild.............
No party poppers in this lot..........(phew relieved)
This girl rocked from the minute of the first stroke of the beat to the last
Arms were flying, every word sung, with a lot of squeeeeeeeeeeee
Must admit a bit sad couldn't see Stewart properly so thought what the hell my band is on stage and I am here and had the little green monster in hot little hands and we were not going to be parted or downhearted
We rocked so hard for the whole concert!!!!
Arm in good working order after I went down again and couldn't move the sucker for over a day (arm that is) had me up all night with hot packs rubs and panadol
Tried to give flaggy a break around my neck, but no, had to be waving the whole time (no DM wasn't asshat just at shoulder level) raising now and then at breaks however the lights went out each time
No glory for flaggy, but we had a wonderful time, me and my new friend flaggy
Flaggy did make the big screens twice when all hands were in the air and the little green monster was there in your face
Here we were flaggy and me watching (when his adorable face was on screen) dancing singing and waiting.........

Flaggy can't be controlled under certain circumstances
At one stage I was literally jumping up and down and if you know my problems that is a bloody miracle even my sister was amazed how much I moved for two solid hours........
Hair wringing wet.......
Sweat dripping from face......
Incredible stupid grin on face......
All your fault Stewart.......
And loving every minute of it
Flaggy and I did everything possible to catch a certain adorable drummer's eye.........those gorgeous beautiful eyes............
But oh no ..........
He couldn't see this crazy forty six year old (grey hair) jumping around like a twenty year old........to be honest I don't think I could have done a better job at that age..........
Okay here I was with flaggy and no points............
No biggie..........
Just passing out.........
Wild thoughts went through mind at a hundred miles per minute...........
He didn't see the forum...............
Too busy..........
Get over it..............
Had flaggy and we were cool.................
Then it happened
Knocked of my feet.............
He stood up.................
And pointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The girls around me screamed DID YOU SEE THAT
I am screaming back YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flaggy passed out!!!!!!!!!!!
It literally knocked the breath out of my body
There is nothing like it in the world
Think about it................Stewart Copeland drummer of the greatest band in the world pointing at me..........
Pointing at me in the crowd of forty thousand people
The night in some ways was this huge blur
Stewart, flaggy and me...........
What a combination............
What a night...............
It was the best night of my life
Thank you Stewart for making it so special

Thank you Stewart for everything and will never, never, never forget the night Police rocked Melbourne and my life

You girls had me laughing so much I pulled muscles in the side and uncontrollable giggles that people looked .............never had so much fun in my life!!! Had to leave the Internet cafe.....I am serious ........good thing flaggy wasn't there......

you filled all my dreams.......yes you are married, have kids, don't understand this adoration but believe me when I say you are gorgeous and make our lives much richer for been alive and been on this earth and touching our lives.............you will always be apart of my life
think about it Stewart who else would make someone stand out in a crowd of forty thousand people by pointing at them four times which says you are apart of me.........a part of this whole concert.........apart of my life!
I thank you Stewart I have never felt apart of anything in this world, however not just you but everyone who is here who enjoys what you do and who you are
You my American friend are very special and do not forget it and we all feel apart of you in a small special way because of you
You have made all are dreams come true and a green little flag from one special lady and hubby..... love you guys
