Trivia

This was the first U.S. date of the reunion tour.

Before the concert Martine Dedek (co-owner of Studio Evolve) worked out with Sting.

This was the last night The Police were to include "Murder By Numbers" in the setlist.

There was a considerable amount of banter amongst the band throughout the evening, a feature which diminished as the tour progressed. Sting encouraged the crowd repeatedly to sing along, saying "we need all your help, Seattle."

Sting made the joke "this is Seattle, Washington, right? Not Washington, D.C." during the band introductions after "Synchronicity II" and in the crowd rally at the "Regatta de Blanc" jam in "Can't Stand Losing You".

Sting acknowledged his wife sitting in the audience by saying "Hello darling, is your husband here? Oh, he's gone?" He made the same joke the following evening.

Andy primarily played his Stratocaster during the concert. Stewart cajoled Andy: "Why don't you play the Telecaster, Andy?" which garnered an enthusiastic cheer from the crowd, but Andy replied "I wanna play the Stratocaster."

Andy briefly tripped over his guitar cable walking up to the microphone, and said "I nearly killed myself there."

Andy played with a capo during "Truth Hits Everybody".

Stewart changed snare drum heads mid-set and used that opportunity to run across the back of the back of the stage and acknowledge the people sitting at the rear of the arena. "Whoa! There's people here!"
