Sting, Stewart and Ian watch a James Brown concert
an ad for the James Brown concert in Melody Maker - December 25, 1976
Date: 1977-01-14
Location: London, England, UK - Hammersmith Odeon
Attendees: Stewart Copeland, Sting, Ian Copeland

Stewart Copeland and Sting worked together today. Ian Copeland had organized backstage passes for a James Brown concert at London's Hammersmith Odeon as Stewart wanted to impress Sting (Stewart's diary doesn't explicitly mention who actually went to the concert with him...).

A Curved Air gig was listed to take place today at Newcastle's Mayfair, but there were no Curved Air concerts in 1977.
